Job Description : Mint Cannabis is hiring to fill our Distribution team! We are prioritizing hiring on team members that are able to intake product and work directly with vendors to be the face of Mint Cannabis!

As an Intake Team Member, your responsibilities range from tracking all incoming and existing products through the system, working with vendors to receive new orders or pay existing ones, keeping the sales floor stocked at all times, separating product so it can be dropped to our satellite stores, maintaining AZDHS compliance, and being the central point of contact for all departments and stores for anything product related.

You are an essential part of the Dispensary by making sure that the Sales floor has items to sell, not only in a timely manner, but in an efficiently and within compliance. The role of an Intake Team Member is also vital for keeping the vendors that pay us a visit connected to The Mint in a positive manner, and making sure that all departments feel supported knowing that if a patient asks for testing or product-specific information, it’s available to them.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain vendor relationships by being respectful and friendly while receiving orders or paying invoices.
Must be able to multi-task and stop tasks to attend to higher priority tasks.
Must be able to work in a team environment, but also have the ability to self-guide and follow work flows to know what is expected next.
Follow proper procedures for receiving new invoices by verifying paperwork, testing, licensing, and physical product count.
Follow proper procedures for paying vendors by signing the proper forms and using our cash counter to verify each payment.
Verify product count when receiving new invoices by counting all orders before the vendor exits.
Track product returns and defective products by filling out the proper paperwork and working with the sales leads to ensure a timely collection of returned merchandise.
Return the defective and returned merchandise to our vendors by setting up an outgoing order to the vendor.
Complete vendor invoices by entering the orders into our inventory system.
Maintain compliance when creating new items by verifying that the right dominance, product type, product ingredients, product weight, pricing, and strain name are used.
Maintain compliance when tracking orders by verifying that the right batch number, harvest date, exp date, dominance, strain, product type, product ingredients, product weight, and test results were used when entering into the inventory system.
Separate orders according to the purchasing analytics by obtaining a Split List from our purchasing team and using it to divide the order amongst us and our satellite stores.

Ability to multitask efficiently.
Can work in teams to get large tasks done.
Self-driven and able to follow work flows to complete next task without constant reminders.
Vigilant and has extreme attention to detail.
Willing to communicate with vendors during the Intake process in a respectful manor, while also making them feel welcome.
Organized and able to keep the flow of the back of house by sorting paperwork, supplies, etc., where it belongs every time.
Punctual.
Keeping an open mind is a must.
Can keep up with any changes to our systems, compliance, or procedures that may occur last minute.
Shows respect to their peers and will stop their tasks to assist others, such as stopping to Intake when a vendor arrives.
Fast paced and driven to see a task to completion.
Ability to accurately run large amounts of money through a money counter to pay vendors.
Not afraid to bring ideas to the table.
