Job Description : ABOUT VETERANS MOVING AMERICA
Veterans Moving America is a values-based moving company that exists primarily to support and encourage veterans. Apart from the company’s founder, the company is made up of an all-veteran workforce and provides moving and moving-related services to clients in the DFW area as well as clients around the country that are moving to or from DFW.

Who We WantWe are looking for Team Leaders to join our growing team. Experience is preferred but not required. What makes the ideal candidate?

Pay & Perks

Base Pay ranges from $17.50 to $19.00 an hour for Team Leaders*
Great tips average $600 – $1000+ per month! (approximately $4 to $8 an hour or more)
Training pay starts at $16.00 per hour with training lasting 2 weeks or more. (Tips add an additional $4 to $8 an hour)
W-2 Full employee benefits (not 1099) with Occupational Accident Insurance (comparable to workers compensation) to protect you if you get hurt
On-Call Pay bonus of $3 an hour whenever you are called in to work last minute
Weekly pay (Every Friday)
SIMPLE IRA matching of 2%
Vision and Dental Insurance (even for part-time employees)
Flexible Schedule/Unlimited Vacation
Paid Time Off

*During or after training, if you are unable to progress to the team lead position due to changes to your driving record, disciplinary action, personal preference, or any other reason then you will be given a non-lead position and paid an hourly rate of at least $14.50.
The Requirements:

Must be a veteran or reservist for a branch of the US Armed Services
To be insured as a driver, you must have a driver’s license with a clean record
Must be in good physical condition. Obviously.
Must be able to work at least 5 days a week, including Saturdays
College degree or currently enrolled is a bonus but definitely not required.
Must have own reliable means of transportation.
Must be willing to take on the responsibility of managing crews, supervising jobs, and taking on the role of a team leader once training is completed.
Must have a love or at least general tolerance for manual labor. Who doesn’t love lifting stuff?
Must be willing to help our young company grow by giving us your best.
