Position : Museum Educator, Part-time
Job Description : Knowledgeable, outgoing art educators are encouraged to apply for weekend family program teaching positions. Part-time educators will co-facilitate lessons designed by the museum for flexible, object-centered gallery discussions and related art activities. Candidates will be scheduled to work at least 8 Saturday or Sunday programs?including Kimbell Kids Drop-In Studios and Family Festivals?over 20 weeks, April 15?August 31, 2022.Objectives: Family programs strive to offer exciting, innovative ways for participants to explore artworks from around the world and across history; foster creativity and personal connections through group discussions and flexible activities; and introduce a variety of materials and studio techniques that help participants to develop new skills.
