Position : New Patient Onboarding Coordinator

Job Description : The Scottsdale Children’s Institute and Scottsdale Pediatric Behavioral Services is seeking experienced and qualified New Patient Intake Coordinator to work in our office and help streamline the New Patient Intake pipeline. We serve children with special needs as well as typically developing children.
Essential job functions, duties, responsibilities:

Register, log, and schedule all new patient referrals received via phone, email, or web form submission.
Answer incoming calls and requests to schedule consults in a timely and accurate manner.
Be the primary point of contact for all new and incoming patients.
Answer general questions and concerns from future patient families.
Send assessments and documents to potential patients.
Review documents for insurance.
Collaborate with team to help streamline the intake pipeline.
Forward referral and intake information to assessment and treatment providers
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors Degree is required
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of scheduling, insurance authorization processes, and insurance plans
Ability to be patient, courteous, and maintain tactful behavior
Great communication and Customer Service skills
Prior knowledge or use of Klara, Monday.com, Microsoft office suites

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
