Job Description : Pay Rate: $35.76 per hour
Job Description / Essential Functions:
Provide planning/scheduling services for the Engineering Department in Tolleson, Arizona.
Convert work requests to active work orders on-line. (May include entering work orders.)
Planning work orders will include: physically scoping the job, reviewing prior job history, listing tasks, identifying the proper supervisor, estimating the manpower, determining and obtaining material requirements, listing safety, contractor, and special requirements, producing specification sheets, and estimating job costs.
Scheduling work orders will include: prioritizing work with operations and maintenance supervisors, accumulating and assembling details for all maintenance work to be performed, determining manpower availability through production, PM and shutdown schedules, scheduling work to be done, assigning shift/supervisor/individual to perform work, arranging support help, printing weekly schedules, printing copies of work orders for individuals doing the work.
Reviewing work orders in process and reviewing completed work orders.
Generate reports measuring maintenance performance. Provide line level PM pillar / Key Performance Indicators.
Generate PM’s through the CMMS Emaint system and distribute
Track and report P.M. backlogs by specific category
Review completed PM’s for completeness >> parts used (inventory deletion), labor hours vs. plan, and follow-up repairs (W.O.generation)
Coordinate maintenance P.M. schedules towards scheduled downtime
Review effectiveness of P.M. activities.>> Review emergency/unscheduled W.O..>> Coordinate modifications of PM’s with maintenance staff.
Track P.M. accountability by mechanic’s,>>hours worked vs. W.O. hours entered.
Perform P.M. audits to verify actual repair is completed.
Perform CMMS INFOR training for all associates and required personnel.
Coordinate P.M. assignment and parts availability to complete work assignments.
Provide spending reports to Maintenance Manager by specific categories.
Plan equipment restoration programs.
Basic Requirements:
Working knowledge and understanding of PLC control systems and terminology in that field
Capable of analyzing cause/effect of equipment failure.
Develop action plans to prevent critical equipment failures.
Must have desire and ability to manipulate data in a computer system.
Must be familiar with PM Program and requirements.
Track equipment history.
Direct cost to the appropriate departments.
Equipment performance analysis.
Organize and maintain technical reference files.
Maintain good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have good technical aptitude (mechanical and electrical.) Experience with CMMS/Predictive/Preventative Maintenance
Schedule and prioritize daily operational activities. (i.e. work orders)
Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Access/Project /Infor.
Strong problem solving abilities and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to develop strategies in line with overall business vision including appropriate linkages to support functions.
Posses strong organizational skills.
Scope of PositionThis position will report directly to the Maintenance FLL. This position is responsible for taking the leadership role in coordination of maintenance efforts between all those affected by maintenance activities. Areas of focus include learning and using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) when planning, scheduling, tracking, and evaluating work orders through completion. The planner will also create, schedule and evaluate preventive maintenance routines, maintain the CMMS hierarchy, provide the communication link between the business unit and support areas, and support the CMMS user group.

High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Position Qualification (Not Required)
