Job Description : Primary Responsibilities
Performs a variety of service and patient care activities that support the nursing staff in providing
quality healthcare to each patient. This position includes, but is not limited to the following essential
functions.
Essential Functions
Performs messenger functions as directed in a prompt and courteous manner, completing any related
reporting or documentation promptly and accurately.
Maintains cleanliness of wheelchairs, stretchers, medication carts, IV poles, patient rooms, and equipment.
Assists staff in turning, lifting and transferring patients from bed/treatment tables to stretchers and
wheelchairs.
High School Diploma Additional Training Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED); ability to pass hospital administered Basic Skills Test. Licensing Requirements Certificates/Licenses/Registration State Basic Cardiac Life Support
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University.
