Position : Outside Alcohol/Beer Sales & Delivery – Base + Commission!

Job Description : Objective
This position is responsible for the sales and distribution growth of Westlake Brewing Company, focusing on retail sales execution in the DFW area.
Essential Responsibilities

Represent the brewery in a positive, professional, and pleasant manner.
Utilize our sales automation tools to cultivate leads.
Make account visits, discuss products, make sales, deliver product.
Work closely with other employees to ensure a clear understanding of current and future beer releases, styles, and culture.
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key retailers in the assigned territory.
Communicate market trends and relevant sales data to brewery staff.
Ensure that the brewery’s quality standards are clearly understood and enforced by retailers.
Attend all brewery sales team meetings as required.
Maintain an understanding of all legal restrictions regarding alcohol products in each market and ensure all initiatives are executed within those limitations.
Maintain a flexible work schedule – weekends, extended workdays, and festival attendance are occasionally necessary.
Create and execute promotions at current and potential customers, festivals, and events.
Travel daily within the assigned territory.
Enter & log daily activity in our Customer Relations Management software.

Additional Responsibilities

Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of the 3-tier alcohol structure in Texas.
Knowledge of the craft beer and beer industry.
Ability to lift & move kegs of beer repeatedly.
Skill in multi-tasking and taking initiative.
The desire and ability to execute by winning new accounts.
Skill in attention to detail and ability to complete tasks on time and independently.
A consistent, strong worth ethic.
Skill in verbal communication, written communication, and presentation.
Ability to sample, taste, and consume alcoholic products, while developing sensory skills in order to communicate product features to customers.
Ability to communicate with potential customers, earn trust, win favor, and sell product.
Ability to plan on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and consistently execute plans in a timely manner.
Ability to occasionally operate beer line cleaning equipment.

Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical strength, mental strength, and endurance to be able to perform duties. Required to frequently lift and move 50-150 pound kegs.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: None required; Previous sales experience, previous alcohol industry experience, or related supplier experience is preferred.
Age Requirement: 21 years or older
Required Travel: Up to 100% local travel; Must have a reliable vehicle and ability to transport kegs.
Driving Requirements: Yes; Good driving record and personal liability auto insurance required.
