Job Description : Houston’s premier outsourcing company is looking for a motivated individual for full-time position. One of our Houston Law Firm Clients is seeking a paralegal to join our support team. You will be supporting our Client’s practice mediation demand packets. This will require client interaction via phone, and email, requesting and obtaining documents, and monitoring the progress of those efforts.To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. You will also need to be able to multitask effectively and essentially thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.Paralegal Responsibilities:

Have knowledge of, or learn the basics, of damages as it pertains to each client’s loss.
Extracting the relevant information from Client documents as it pertains each client’s demand and entering it into a database.
Attend weekly Zoom Meetings.
Complaint filings, summons, complying with litigation specific procedures for summons and service.
Keeping the DCM updated with client status and loss profile.
Support and work with Attorney’s, paralegal’s, legal assistants and other litigation support tasks.
Willingness to support attorney workflow by taking on additional duties as needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in task switching and adapting to shifting priorities.
Interacting with Client’s on a regular basis.

Preferred Experience:

Individuals with disaster and/or insurance experience are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
