Job Summary
The Academy of Natural Sciences is looking to expand their pool of part time security officers to supplement our museum security staff.
Essential Functions
Monitoring lobby activity
Checking IDs and registering business visitors
Monitoring surveillance and fire alarm systems
Performing interior and exterior walking tours
Performing electronic access control functions
Writing reports
Responding to emergencies
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED
1 year of relevant working experience
Able to communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Windows based computers
Physical Demands
Typically sitting at a desk/table
Typically standing, walking
Lifting demands up to or greater than 25lbs
