Job Description : DigiBite, a teledentistry platform seeks a dentist with an entrepreneurial spirit, an eye to the future of the dental industry, and an active license in Virginia, Maryland, or DC to join its growing team. The opportunity offers the chance to get in on the ground floor of a growing segment of the dental industry, helping to refine a new platform while providing first-rate virtual care. We are offering a competitive guaranteed minimum hourly rate and additional compensation for dentists holding valid licenses in multiple states.
DigiBite enables dental service providers and insurers greater access to more affordable and convenient oral care. Through synchronous or asynchronous appointments, DigiBite allows patients access to top-notch Dentists with ease.
In our early phase, we are looking for dentists available for about 5-10 hours per week, but as we grow we hope to expand availability. Scheduling can be flexible, though we prefer an individual able to offer some availability for pre-scheduled appointments during weekday business hours or mornings and early afternoons.
Responsibilities:
Conduct brief real-time virtual visits using our interface, then complete patient reports within the system
Review patient-submitted photos, medical records, and screening information asynchronously to diagnose common issues, recommend treatment plans, and offer second opinions
Provide feedback on application user experience, features, and workflow
Be available for periodic discussions to provide dental industry expertise and guidance on emerging challenges and new features of the platform. This feedback will drive platform development and bolster user experiences for providers and patients alike.
Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
