Job Description : Responsibilities

The Patient Access Coordinator will oversee, monitor, mentor, coach and assist staff working in assigned Patient Access areas.

The Coordinator will support staff with daily operational issues, including patient registration, insurance requirements, medical necessity, outpatient scheduling and customer service. This position will ensure adequate coverage as needed for staff vacancies, volume fluctuations, and workflow changes, etc.

This position will have a Saturday rotation and an on call rotation.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

2 year/Associate Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate’s Degree
