Position : Patient Escort-Full time (30 hours a week) – NCHDE-Patient services-Alfred I duPont Hospital

Job Description : This position is a full time position, which will provide Patient Escort services to patient and their families during the regular business weekday, Monday through Friday, for 6 hours a day. The Patient Escorts support patients and their families, and the medical team, by transporting patients to and from their inpatient room, for appointment and procedures in the hospital. The Patient Escort will also support patients and their families at the time of discharge, helping them with transport to the exit of the hospital. The Patient Escorts will help escort family members around the hospital as requested, and will make deliveries to patients rooms as requested and available.

The Patient Escort team works along with the Patient and Family Services Welcome Desk team to provide a safe and welcoming experience.
