Job Description : Upon Arrival at Cheltenham Nursing and rehabilitation Center
Arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled pick-up time, after you clock in go to appropriate floor
Get report from charge nurse; mental status, any special needs, transfer status, etc.
Obtain paperwork from charge nurse/ UM/ UC/ or operator
The resident should be in the proper wheelchair with proper attachment; leg rests, anti-tippers, etc.
Assure residents are clean, dry, odor free, hair combed, shaved, proper clothing, and footwear
If the resident is incontinent, must have dry incontinent brief on them. If the resident is continent, must be toileted by CNA before you leave.
If the resident is to be out for all day or during lunch time, talk to charge nurse for boxed lunch
You are not to transfer, toilet, or change incontinent brief.
Consult/Appointment
Provide necessary papers to provider. If you or the consulting doctor has questions please call the facility and talk to appropriate personal
While resident is being treated maintain professional demeanor. Do not leave the resident at any time, unless the provider asked you to leave.
Cell phone use is prohibited at all time
At the completion of the office visit obtain any paper work or follow up appointment as needed
Upon arrival, back in Cheltenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
When you return from appointment you must go to the floor and report off to the charge nurse/UM and provide them with the outcome/details of the visit
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $11.00 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:vaccination required
