Position : Payroll Administrator (Direct Hire)

We are hiring a Payroll Administrator for one of the largest construction/utility providers in the southwest with work to last for the next 100 years!
This position is 4 days in-office, with 1 day/week remote
Schedule: M-F, 8-5 (with flexible hours to start earlier or later if preferred)
Responsibilities:

Process up to 3k weekly salary and hourly payroll for employees across multiple states and companies using SAP Hana
Review and validate payroll reports to ensure accurate information; verify and reconcile adjustments, bonuses, deductions
Process off cycles as needed
Complete weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting
Assist with unemployment claims and requests for information
Respond to general questions and provide assistance to field HR teams
Other responsibilities as requested by leadership

Education, Skills, Experience Needed:

High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years experience performing all payroll functions
Strong understanding of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system
Working knowledge of State and Local Jurisdictions
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Outlook, Excel

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
