Position : Payroll Clerk

Job Description : Outstanding operator of shopping warehouse clubs has immediate need for Payroll Clerk to report to Payroll Manager/US Controller.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Payroll data entry.
Auditing of Payroll related items
Calculation of final paychecks.
Calculation of manual payments.
Disability Coordination of Benefits Calculations
Correspondence with employees regarding basic payroll and 401K issues.
IRS/Bureau Correspondence
Work with HR regarding payroll related issues
Provide ADP Reports for other departments as needed.
Post Payroll Folder Preparations.
Process and Procedure Development and Documentation
New State Registration and Setup

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR FORMAL TRAINING, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND/OR SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

Payroll Experience.
ADP or other comparable payroll software experience.
Proficient/Advanced in Windows including Excel, Access and Word.
Strong understanding of Internal Controls / Sarbanes Oxley.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and proactive solution seeker.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 per year
