Position : Payroll Specialist

Job Description : Reporting to the Payroll Manager. The Payroll Specialist will be supporting the payroll team with the administration of accurate and timely delivery of payroll for our employees on a bi-weekly basis, and perform related duties as required.

What You Get To Do Every Day

Collecting timesheet data and payroll information
Support the accurate and timely preparation, input, analysis, and processing of biweekly multi-state payroll, as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable state, federal wage and hour laws
Processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and other similar responsibilities accurately and timely
Is the first point of contact for responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns
Provides assistance to the internal team and vendors to ensure all Payroll changes are processed.
Provides assistance with pre and post payroll audits
Maintain control of payroll records and personnel related matters with strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive information
Participate in different payroll projects and other initiatives as assigned

What You Bring To The Role

2+ years of relevant experience in payroll administration
Business Admin/Accounting degree preferred, but not required
Workday payroll/Time Tracking preferred
Must have appropriate Excel skills
Prior experience with employee stock options/restricted stock runs preferred
Attention to details, ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff required
Ability to handle confidential matters using sound judgment and discretion
Prior experience processing payroll within a multi-state jurisdiction environment required
Good team player
