Position : Per Diem Transporter (Rotating Shift)

Job Description : Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the transportation and transfer of all patients to and from the clinical imaging areas. Up keep of all transportation equipment.
Scheduled every weekend, 1pm-9:30pm
Essential Functions: Provides transportation of patients as assigned by means of the designated method (wheelchair or stretcher) to the clinical service areas for treatment and/or diagnostic studies and return them to their rooms.Reports intended transport or return of patient to the nurse in charge of the district.Observes patients for adverse changes in condition or appearance during transport.Verifies transport task with person at location of assignment and reports completion of assignment to the dispatch center. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital
High School Diploma or G.E.D.; or the ability to pass basic skills test required.
Ability to pass the basic BLS course.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University.
