Job Description : Location: Houston, TX
Starting Hourly Rates: Evening Drivers: $15-22/hrMorning Drivers: $14-17/hr
Hourly rates are entirely dependent on the schedule selected, for controlled and predictable earnings. Tenure raises begin at 6-months and overtime is paid at 1.5x.
Shifts available: Early Morning, Morning, Evening
Entry Level and experienced drivers welcome! You’ll be driving passengers and making deliveries in a company-owned luxury SUV — no paying for maintenance, gas, or car payments. Alto takes care of the vehicles, provides upfront training, offers employment benefits, and maintains best-in-class cleaning and safety processes to protect our drivers and passengers.

WORKING AT ALTO
We provide the ride. You’ll be driving passengers and making deliveries in a company-owned, late-model SUV – no paying for maintenance, gas, or car payment.
No chasing gigs: Alto offers a competitive salary ($13.25 to 18.00, tenure raises, bonuses based on productivity. We are currently seeking Part-Time or Full-Time drivers.

We take your health and safety seriously. Our vehicles are equipped with physical barriers separating the driver and passenger compartments, detailed between shifts with EPA-registered disinfectants, and include HEPA filters (the kind used in hospitals and commercial airplanes) to keep our drivers and passengers safe.

We are currently looking for Drivers for full time and part time positions.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to hear instructions from our dispatch department.
Must be able to speak with our leaders and dispatch team to express any needs during their trips.
Must be able to enter and exit the vehicle to help customers with their luggage.
Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25/50 pounds regularly/occasionally.
Must be able to sit for extended periods without being able to leave the work area.

What We’re Looking For:

Drivers are our customer ambassadors. As a driver, we ask that you:
Create an elevated customer service experience for Alto passengers and customers on their rides and deliveries (we’ll help you learn how).
Provide timely transportation to Alto passengers in company vehicles with the highest degree of safety and adherence to the law and company standards at all times.
Demonstrate a safe, consistent, and hospitable journey and experience for our passengers.
As a driver, you also must:
Pass a background check, including drug-screen, prior to employment. This helps us keep both our drivers and passengers safe.
Be hospitable: orientation toward customer delight versus simply transaction
Be coachable: open to learning and adjusting + commitment to building a great role
Be calm: can act under pressure proficient in Google Maps
Mandatory 1 day in car training.
Have a valid driver’s license
Have dependable transportation to and from Houston
Have a clean driving record, no criminal record, + the ability to pass a drug screen
Have a clean drivers record with no more than 2 moving violations /at fault accidents in the last 3 years.
Have written and oral command of English language
Have customer service experience (this is a plus)’
