A little about us…
EVOKE Photography and Video is a local studio specializing in wedding photography and video production. We service several hundred weddings each year in and around the Houston area. We currently have 3 entry level Photographer positions available. You can learn more about EVOKE here: www.evokephoto.com
A little about the training program…
Our training program is designed to transform aspiring photographers into Professional Wedding Photographers. Starting as a “Level 1 EVOKE Assistant”, you will work your way up to Certified Professional Photographer with the Professional Photographers of America (https://tinyurl.com/muuty5vp). The program involves a mix of classroom and OTW (On The Wedding) training. As you train, you will be working to build your EVOKE Portfolio. We believe our program is better than the Art Institute and anything you will find on YouTube.
A little about the gear…
If you have your own gear…great. If not, EVOKE will provide professional level gear to get you started. Upon completion of training, EVOKE will subsidize (pay for) 25% of your gear purchases. (That $4,000 camera will cost you $3,000). Additionally, EVOKE offers no-interest equipment financing.
A little about the pay…
Training pay ranges from $15hr to $40 per hour. Advancements in pay are made as you advance from Level 1 to Level 3 Assistant. Upon completion of the training program pay will advance to $50hr with several bonus opportunities. Payday is weekly on Wednesdays. Reimbursements are given for approved expenses (gas / parking / food).

Our expectations are high. We photograph and film weddings. We work hard. We are always on time. We are constantly learning. We are only willing to work with mature, responsible and hard working individuals. We do background checks, call previous employers, and we have a limited tolerance for excuses.
