Through programs focused on academic, social-emotional and spiritual support, our strategy is to help children and parents utilize their existing strengths and develop new skills to overcome barriers born from systemic inequities, generational trauma, and life circumstances.
What You’ll Do
As a preschool and after school teacher, you will work directly with our enrolled students, from infants to elementary school, to promote their academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth. You will work closely with parents and other teachers to recognize and meet the unique needs of each child while developing strong classroom routines and providing engaging lessons.
As a teacher, you might do any of the following on an average day:

Complete a developmental milestone assessment for your students.
Lead circle time with welcome songs and story time.
Practice fine motor skills with a tactile, sensory-rich activity.
Celebrate a holiday or cultural awareness day with special food, music, and lessons.

You are confident in teaching and interacting with children, providing them with both nurturing care and appropriate boundaries.
You have experience implementing trauma-informed care, or you’re eager to learn how to be a trauma-informed teacher.

A starting wage between $11.50-$15.00 per hour.
Paid time off, tuition-free child care, paid professional development (including CDA certification), and complimentary lunch.
Up to five weeks of built-in paid holidays* aligning with Fort Worth ISD’s major breaks.
