Your Health Lab is seeking an experienced and talented Procurement Manager to join our fast-paced, high-growth team! See below for the position details:
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Classification: Exempt
Travel: up to 15% (depending on location of candidate)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Procurement Manager serves as a primary point of contact for supplier, vendors, and clients. Responsible for the procurement of good and supplies, the Procurement Manager identifies potential supplier sources, and negotiates favorable terms.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as point of contact between the company and suppliers/vendors
Identify potential suppliers based on company and project requirements
Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
Review existing contracts to ensure ongoing feasibility
Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production
Develop and maintain department infrastructure, workflows, efficiencies and processes
Identify areas of opportunity within departmental workflows and processes, and make appropriate recommendations to ensure efficiency/productivity
Develop cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used
Build and maintain longstanding relationships with suppliers and vendors
Develop and maintain risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages
Work closely with leadership and other team members to ensure procurement goals are met
Manage inventory to ensure adequate supply of goods and control cost
Prepare reports related to procurement
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree
At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in procurement and/or managing supply chain operations
Experience within the healthcare industry

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service skills is a MUST – with a “servant-like mentality”
Ability to act with integrity and professionalism
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to work independently
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

COVID-19 considerations:This position must be able to report to a physical office in Victoria, TX on a consistent basis. There is some remote capability, however some on-the-road travel (up to 15%) to other locations will be required.
