Job Description : Nouryon’s Almeda Location is looking for top candidates to fill the key role of Process Operator. The Process Operator is essential to the success of the site and is the core aspect of our Production Team.

What you will do:
Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the site’s assets. The Almeda facility consists of operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining continuous and batch processes.
Collaborate with the Production Team as needed to reach the site’s and shift’s goals and needs.
Core Member of the site’s Emergency Response Team.
Lead and represent by example.
Operate machinery (forklifts, hoists, conveyors, etc.) to safely transport raw materials, intermediate and final products around the site.
Repair autonomously minor equipment defects/failures as directed by supervision.
Safely handle and sample hazardous chemicals.
Coordinate with key stakeholders in maintenance to ensure safe and efficient unit repairs. This includes unit preparation/line clearing, Lock Out Tag Out Try Out protocols and Work Permits.
Input process data into databases
Correctly follow and complete batch sheets and unit checklists.
What you need:
Preferably 3-5 years of experience in similar roles either in chemical, petrochemical, etc.
Process Tech Degree (2-year degree) may substitute for some experience.
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and wear PPE including a respirator.
Physically lift 55lbs and ability to maneuver drum dollies.
Computer skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience in using SAP and MES is a plus.
Ability to work shift work and overtime as needed.
Must be able to pass Emergency Response Team physical.
