Position : Production Supervisor – Confectionery
Job Description : The person is responsible for Planning, Organizing, directing and running optimum day to day operations of the shop floor in order to meet the production schedule with utmost efficiency and manpower productivity.Principal Job Responsibilities1. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus;2. Ensure optimum production output, quality and timely dispatch as per monthly, weekly and daily production schedule;3. Increase production and assets capacity utilization while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards;4. Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions as and when required;5. Effectively lead, coach and train the production team to accomplish operational objectives.6. Drive manpower planning and productivity7. Action on feedback from section in charge requiring deviation or variation of production, raw material consumption etc.8. Make investigations in case of low and high yields, rework, impurity formation and contamination.9. Data analysis after batch completion to ensure optimum production yield;10. Coordinate with the cross functional team to meet the production timelines.11. Drive production quality control and assurance.12. Close monitoring of input raw material and product to drive raw material quality13. Preventive maintenance to equipments as per their schedule by consulting with the engineering services to avoid the production detentions.14. Facilitate Equipment mapping & facility requirements.15. Set up health and safety audit procedures and improve safety efficiencies,16.
