Job Description : Full-time Program Director, Workforce DevelopmentThe San Diego Housing Federation (SDHF), a San Diego-based nonprofit organization that promotes the development of quality affordable homes for people in need throughout San Diego County, seeks an energetic individual to lead the implementation and expansion of our workforce development program.
The candidate will have demonstrated experience in program planning and management, community relations and outreach, grant research and management, and administration. The ideal candidate will enjoy and value relationship-building with people from all backgrounds, places and experiences, enjoy working as part of a team, and be committed to SDHF’s mission.
Position Summary The Program Director, Workforce Development is responsible for the development and administration of SDHFs workforce development initiative. The objective of the initiative is to work collaboratively with community partners to attract, train, place, and retain Black, Indigenous, People of Color into the San Diego affordable housing industry through an academic and mentorship certificate program, resulting in job placement. The Program Director, Workforce Development will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related experience
Demonstrated relationship-building skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Flexibility and initiative to complete tasks with remote direction and weekly meetings
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications Spanish language fluency

Demonstrated success in community engagement strategies
Experience working across diverse set of stakeholders
Experience managing grant-funded programs, including budgeting, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting

Position DetailsClassification: Full-time, exemptCompensation: $60,000-$70,000, based on experienceBenefits: Health, Employer-sponsored retirement plan, Paid holidays, PTOSchedule: Full-time, 40 hoursStart Date: May 1, 2022Location: Hybrid position—WFH, and SDHF offices at 3939 Iowa Street, Suite 1, San Diego, CA 92104.Occasional weekend/evening hours may be required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
