Job Responsibilities: Quality Management

Manages the oversight of Group Home Managers and/or Residential Team Leaders by ensuring competencies in policies, procedures, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of individual people supported needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.

Coaching

Provides continuous coaching, leadership and mentoring for employees directly supervised, including Group Home Managers and/or Residential Team Leaders and Direct Support Staff.
Provides guidance and oversight to systems and processes to ensure people supported are involved in all components of their individualized programs including but not limited to: improving sensory motor and perceptual motor development, perception, memory, language, cognition, and social and emotional development. This also includes ensuring people supported receive the supports necessary to enhance their motivation, provide consistent reinforcement to learning, continuous assessment of level of functioning, and continuous feedback to people supported and clinical team for all learning activities.

Team Management

Monitors and assures responsibilities of Technicians, Case Managers and supportive staff are carried out as required.
Assisting in the recruiting, hiring, training of Technicians, Case Manager and/or Residential Team Leaders and other clinical team members.

Teamwork

Plans and assists with the implementation of activities within and outside the Residential programs.
Reporting to the Administrator and working closely with colleagues to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardize procedures, expedite person-centered plan implementation and workflow and improve employee performance.

Employee Health and Safety

Ensures physical conditions in all facilities are safe and conducive for working and learning.
Understands and enforces universal medical precautions by utilizing personal protective and safety equipment.
Seeks understanding of and follows company policy, regulations set forth by AZDHS with regard to personnel, regulations, safety, & compliance.

Miscellaneous

Performs other duties as assigned.
Ensures confidentiality regarding sensitive material including employee and people supported’ s individual rights to privacy, and protected health information

Our ideal Residential Program Manager is an excellent communicator (written an verbal) and cooperative team player who excels at interviewing the people we serve to learn about their interests and goals, even individuals who cannot communicate verbally. You must also be detail-oriented and have excellent written communication skills to develop and disseminate person-centered plans.
