Job Description : Job Title: Packer
FLSA Status: Hourly
Department: Operations
SUMMARY: Package proteins and product by performing the following duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:
Place product into primary packaging
Inspecting packages, marking and label product
Set up and maintain work area
Utilizing TI screens
Equipment usage to label product
Pack product by specifications
Work with team members to ensure maximum productivity
Communication and responsibility for reporting any food safety and food quality related issues to Lead, Supervisor or Management
Follow the company’s GMP policy
Maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe work area
Follow safe work practices including wearing all required PPE in designated areas
Work weekends and flexible hours
Perform other duties assigned

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Bi-lingual a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and cold temperature. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
