Job Description : The Project Purchaser is responsible for purchasing activities throughout the life cycle of a project, including ordering materials, supplies and equipment, and following through with suppliers on shipment and delivery. This position will support the accounting team in analyzing and validating project related invoices.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities
· Prepare procurement documents and agreements for the materials, supplies and equipment needed to execute project deliverables.
· Compile (RFx) documents including documents, drawings, and specifications.
· Perform supplier bid evaluations of quotes and proposals.
· Compile and present cost comparisons and bid tab analysis.
· Prepare purchase order documents and enter purchase order information into the purchasing software application for project approvals.
· Submit purchase orders to suppliers, obtain and log order acknowledgments.
· Responsible for expediting supplier submittals and delivery of equipment and materials to support construction activities.
· Prepare procurement status reports, including purchase orders closeout reports, purchase orders logs and Third-Party Equipment Rental Logs.
· Source and qualify potential suppliers to provide required materials and equipment.
· Input and track materials and equipment on purchase orders in the purchasing software application.
· Monitor and process supplier invoices pending in the online invoicing application.
· Assist with final Project purchase orders closeouts.
· All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
· Minimum of 4 years direct purchasing experience, project procurement, project field procurement, materials management, or EPC procurement experience.
· Prior Procure to Pay (P2P) experience preferred.
· Viewpoint Construction Software experience preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour

8 hour shift
