Job Description : Duties/Responsibilities:

Purchase’s goods and services according to the company’s policies and procedures.
Coordinates with managers to maintain inventory levels.
Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.
Works with vendors to negotiate volume and other available discounts.
Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company.
Issue Purchase orders as required to meet the needs of all departments. Be proactive and communicate with all departments to accurately order material on time. Ensure that product reaches site in a timely manner.
Communicate with shop/warehouse to ensure that product is received and ready for delivery on time.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills.
EXPERIENCE in HVAC
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

At least one years of purchasing experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine purchasing needs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
