This high-profile organization is in need of candidates with at least 1 year of experience as QA analyst. Candidate should have solid understanding of QA testing and should be capable of leading the development/ execution of testing plans, to get test requirements, review test results and trouble shoot them. Experience with automated tools is an added advantage.
Responsible for assisting with the Quality Assurance of software releases.
White-Box and Black-Box testing of key product modules
Set up testing environments and test data.
Assist in the development of detailed requirements and work with engineering to determine QA provisions for product quality.
Develop test documentation including test plan, test cases and test metrics to ensure system functionality is in accordance with the requirements.
Establish and perform acceptance, functional, security, regression, stress, and cross platform tests.
Document software defects
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of QA principles and development processes
Hands on experience with tools such as LoadRunner, WinRunner, JUnit and Ant utilities will be a plus
Must have ability to analyze and debug difficult problems in very large software products
Must be able to work independently in working with multiple stakeholders (Developers, QA Engineers, Release Managers etc.)
Experience with troubleshooting product problems
Personality:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong team building skills
Adapt and adhere to company standards and cultur
