Our US head office is based in Cresson Texas, 25 minutes southwest of Fort Worth, and with steady growth and expansion at the forefront of our plans, we are currently seeking a motivated QSE Specialist to work in the civil construction and related industries, utilizing one of the world’s most innovative products, composites!
JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
The QSE Specialist is a subject matter expert (SME) who facilitates effective management of quality, safety, environment, and training across all areas of the business. The Advisor provides advice, training, coaching, mentoring, and assistance to ensure effective identification and management of QSE risks and compliance obligations. This role provides specialist QSE advice to all personnel with QSE responsibilities, duties, and obligations.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the area of responsibility, this role is required to:

Advise and assist leaders and workers on quality, health & safety, environmental protection and mandatory training and competency policy, processes, and requirements.
Influence and drive forward the agenda for positive quality, health, safety, and environmental change in the workplace.
Maintain a sound knowledge of current legislation, policies, guidelines, and standards requirements.

· Provide advice, consultation, monitoring and governance for compliance, to support stakeholders and ensure all relevant safety and environmental legislation, policies and procedures are implemented and effective.

Manage, monitor, and develop the relevant Management Systems to ensure they are adequate and effective, and certification to relevant US standards.
Facilitate audits and inspections to ensure QSE systems and activities at Wagners are implemented, effective, and in accordance with legislative and Company requirements.
Undertake site visits, inspections, incident investigations as required.

· Develop and format high quality documents, presentation material, training material, and internal and external reports for stakeholders.
· Complete allocated HSE actions as directed, and support and assist other QSE team members.
· Facilitate system administration for related HSE IT applications, including developing data analytics for internal and external reporting requirements.
· Other tasks and duties as directed

· Handle sensitive business matters with integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism

· Comply with Wagners policies and procedures, with clear understanding of where to find the information
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Safety, Environment & Quality:

Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of packages
Sound working knowledge of ASME and DOT Codes
Experience and familiarization with operations involving heavy plant, vehicles and equipment
Responsible for implementation of Quality, Safety, & Environment management systems
Experience in maintaining compliance with Training and Competency requirements
Experience working to ISO standards
Able to persuade, motivate, lead, and accomplish work goals through others
Negotiate, supervise, and manage outcomes
Auditing Skills
5 years’ experience in a similar role (Desirable)
Qualifications:
Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment (Desirable)
Lead auditor qualifications (Desirable)
ICAM, TapRoot or BowTie training or equivalent root cause analysis system
Class C Drivers License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,131.00 – $127,282.00 per year
