Position : Remote Systems Admin
Job Description : We are looking for someone who has experience with servers, network infrastructure, help work key IT projects, be the escalation point for the support team, innovate the department and work tickets as needed. Key responsibilities include configuration and installation of computers, servers, and networking devices; maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software; and providing direct end-user support for all IT related issues. Documentation of network configurations and accurate recording of work performed are essential and routine tasks.
Responsibilities:
Work escalated tickets from IT Support
Install, configure and maintain network
Responsible for implementing all projects on the ITECH board
Responsible for maintaining all IT servers across the organization
Serve as Subject Matter Experts for everything within the IT department.
Analyze current processes and systems and find ways to improve and make more efficient
Create and implement new technology
Complete security and risk audits
Vet new software security risks
CompTIA
Microsoft Technology Associate
Skills & Experience Needed:
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in IT support
Self-motivated and willing to go “above and beyond” to meet department expectations
Advanced troubleshooting skills (e.g. tier 2/3 advanced level support)
Must have experience working with remote employees
Advanced PC desktop/laptop expertise, Active Directory, MS Office support, SharePoint Online knowledge including setup and administration, Apple MacBook Pro and Mac OS expertise and Office 365 skills
Experience with Terraform
Mobile Phone support for both Android and iOS a plus
Extensive knowledge of asset management systems
Experience with Cisco Meraki systems a plus
VoIP installation/configuration/troubleshooting experience
Advanced networking knowledge and network hardware experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience working with infrastructure-as-code
Experience working with virtual machines
Ability to be assigned multiple tasks to be completed in rapid succession with minimal supervision
Ability to proactively identify client needs and internal company needs and respond accordingly without being assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
