This job is a member of the Sales Team within the Sales Division.
Responsible for managing business relationships with small to medium corporate accounts.
What you’ll do
Sells primarily from headquarters (via phone or web) with occasional face-to-face interactions
Effectively executes value-based selling, account strategy and the AA sales process
Leverages service channels to handle a vast majority of account support
Works with Agency counterparts and other partners to achieve combined results
Promotes and sells a broad range of programs to corporate accounts, including a mix of current customers and important prospects across the United States
Analyzes customer needs through telephone sales calls, and meets those needs with either an existing or customer specific program
Coordinates and implements programs with appropriate staff departments
Prepares correspondence, proposals, and presentations to support sales activity
All you’ll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience/training
Understanding and execution of value-based selling
Strong account strategy development and execution skills
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Prior Business to Business sales experience
Airline sales experience a plus
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Ability to prepare and execute high quality sales calls
Ability to accurately diagnose known and unknown account business needs and translate needs into opportunities and appropriate offerings
Ability to organize and prioritize a large territory
Above average analytical skills
Ability to communicate to high level executives
Strong value based selling skills founded on business acumen and the ability to translate benefits into the customer’s business language to prove value
Strong negotiation skills that lead to mutually beneficial deals
Effective leveraging of value delivered to increase mutual value and account penetration
Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
