Position : Research Associate I

Job Description : TriLink BioTechnologies is actively responding to the COVID-19 pandemic through vaccine and diagnostic programs.
TriLink BioTechnologies, a Maravai LifeSciences company, is seeking a Research Associate I to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting upstream mRNA synthesis, manufacturing process improvements, and biological assays at growing CDMO biotechnology company. Candidate will possess basic understanding of entry level lab techniques, lab etiquette, and molecular biology with the ability to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities

Execute experiments with minimal supervision in laboratory using proper lab techniques and documentation of results
Produce high quality data using the following techniques:
PCR/qPCR/IVT
Nucleic acid purification
(capillary) gel electrophoresis
Immunoblot
DNAzyme cleavage
Present results during group meetings
Participate in respectful scientific debates and discussions
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment
Contribute to continuous lab improvements including safety culture and 6S lean manufacturing objectives

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s of Science in scientific field; preferably Molecular Biology or Biochemistry
0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience; preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical development o In the lack of prior biotech experience relevancy of degree to job needs will be weighed more heavily
Experience in nucleic acid wet lab techniques listed in job duties (academic or industry)
Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing
High attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
Self-motivated with ability to multitask and meet project deadlines

Pay: $52,805.00 – $156,199.00 per year
