Job Description : RoundGlass Sustain Technologies is working on various solutions which will help understand our natural world and mitigate any threats faced by them.

Currently we are looking for Field Associates to contribute towards the development of a conservation technology product and testing its field deployment.

We are looking for dynamic people who have associations with or have worked with conservation organizations and projects in the past. The role is to liaison with conservation organizations interested in using and adapting the hardware and software developed by Wildly to their field requirements. The position requires field deployment, data collection, annotations and data analysis. This position is partly office based and partly in field, requires travel within the country.

What you’ll do:
Supporting the development and deployment of a hardware and software solution for bioacoustics monitoring
Work with hardware and software engineering teams to test and pilot the solution with leading conservation organizations
Assist in testing of the hardware and software solutions through both lab and field modes
Analyze and prepare acoustic data reports
Who we’re looking for:
Comfortable in use of Windows, Linux and Macintosh OS environments
Familiarity in use of Linux based computing environments
MSc (Ecology/Wildlife/NRM) or Graduate in any discipline preferably with a technical and/or conservation science background
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good data management, analysis and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently
Understanding of Bioacoustics research and data analysis
Eager to explore wilderness and build field ready solutions
Prior experience as intern/project with conservation organizations
