Position : Risk and Compliance Analyst
Job Description : Set Solutions is working exclusively with a client looking for a direct hire Sr. Risk and Compliance Auditor for a client to work remotely in Houston.
Job Description:
Performs the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
Obtains, analyzes and evaluates existing documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
Engages in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
Documents audit tests and findings.
Documents process and assist in preparation
Conducts audit testing of specified area and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk.
Determines compliance with policies and procedures.
Conducts follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
Assists internal and external audit in conducting and documenting the audit.
Qualifications:
Acts as a resource for colleagues, provides guidance to less experienced team members
May lead projects with controllable risks and resource requirements
Works within broad guidelines and polices
Impacts quality of team or project objectives
Solves complex problems
Requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge within own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
Performs a range of assignments and may lead projects within own discipline
Participates in cross-functional projects and may lead project workstream
Works with limited oversight
Applies working knowledge of business and best practices gained through understanding of key business drivers and recognition of how own area integrates within organization
Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment and precedents
Explains complex and/or sensitive information in a straightforward manner
Leads others to consensus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $129,000.00 per year
