1. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails.
2. Creating leads through references or through the Internet.
3. Visiting potential customers for new business and existing business.
4. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
5. Gathering market and customer/competitor information and providing feedback.
6. Representing your organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
7. Advising on forthcoming product developments.
8. Involved with identifying new markets and business opportunities.
9. Maintaining and submitting your daily Sales Report.
10. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
