Position : Samples Coordinator
Job Description : Our San Diego Office has an exciting opportunity for a Samples Coordinator to join our team!
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Coordinate all sample materials and hardware for projects awaiting approval.
Coordinate ordering, procuring, photographing, labeling, transmittals, and packaging.
Manage documentation for requests by keeping Project Management Job folders current.
Travel to Tijuana Mexico Shop as needed for finish coordination on stains and paints.
Coordinate sample materials to and from Mexico Broker as needed.
Attend weekly Project Management meetings as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Previous millwork experience.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Good communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic math skills.
Experience with panel goods, composite material, lumber, plastic laminates, solid surface materials. Cabinetry and millwork experience a plus.
Education and Experience:
At least two years of millwork experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Travel:
As needed to Tijuana shop and broker.
