Job Description : Experience

Experienced Sheet Metal Workers needed for all skill levels. Job requirements include but are not limited to installing foundations, ventilation, bulkheads, shipboard furniture, and sheet metal fabrication shop work. Pay range is from $19 to $31, depending on experience and determination during interview process.
Ship repair experience is a must.

Required Skills1. Ability to comprehend complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches to include weld symbols, material types, datum, and reference lines.2. Ability to comprehend fractional and decimal dimensions as with the use of a tape measure.3. Ability to lay out piece parts for fabrication and assembly onboard navy vessels.4. Ability to assemble piece parts in accordance with specifications and requisite drawings in a quality manner.5. Experience working in a physically demanding environment.6. Familiarity with OSHA and NAVSEA STD Item regulations relative to the ship repair industry.
