FLORAL SHOP ASSISTANT
Leading Florist in Fort Worth, Texas – is seeking a full-time Floral Shop Assistant. The ideal candidate for this position will possess moderate to high physical strength and stamina, high attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. This is an hourly paid position (DOE). Responsibilities
– Work closely with the store manager
– Pull flowers for design
– Assist in flower processing and cooler organization/clean-out
– Assist in taking flower inventory weekly
– Willing to pitch in with any department when needed
Requirements
– Capable of moderate to high physical exertion
– High attention to detail
– Strong interpersonal skills
– Organizational ability
– Quick learner
– Must be able to lift 50lbs
– Works well under pressure
– Ability to meet deadlines daily
– Proficient in computer skills (Google, Gmail, Excel, etc) preferred
– Ability to be a team player and be flexible with daily duties
– Good communication skills
Working extra hours – including weekends – is required around floral holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day. Please include 3 references
