Job Description : Social Media Content Producer
Position Description:
Chavez Radio Group (CRG), a network of 11 radio stations concentrated in the Southwestern states of the U.S. that are owned and operated by the Cesar Chavez Foundation (CCF), is seeking Social Media Content Producer to assist in the development and production of educational, information, and/or entertaining content for posting and monetization across various digital platforms that include, but are not limited to, social media profiles and websites. This position reports to the Content Manager, in conjunction with other content production staff, is responsible for creating unique pieces or series that increase our online following and/or entice the public to listen to our stations.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the Content Manager and the Marketing Coordinator in the development of digital strategies that promote brand awareness, increase ratings and social media following, and creates a closer relationship with the communities we serve.
· Serves as lead creative for digital content.
· Works closely with on-air talent and other content production staff to develop new promotional and entertainment pieces.
· Creates written pieces for digital platforms including postings and articles.
· Supports the execution of new initiatives, digital content, or training materials as needed.
· Analyzes digital content performance and provides recommendations for optimizations or changes to strategy. Reports findings to upper management.
· Provides guidance to staff at all levels on deploying digital best practices and participates in brand audits.
· Assists with the development of an online following growth strategy.
· Work closely with local station staff to fill digital content needs that promote the station or to produce paid digital advertising for clients.
· May need to complete other duties as assigned by the Programming & Brand Management Director or Content Manager on an as-needed basis.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in digital media, communications or other related field or equivalent work experience in those fields on a year-per-year basis.
· Strong knowledge of media editing software such as Davinci Resolve, Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
· Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), especially WordPress.
· Strong communications skills, both verbally and written, in English and Spanish.
· Experience or training in storytelling, brand building, and/or message development.
· Ability to work adeptly in a constantly evolving environment.
· Demonstrated analytical skills.
· Exceptional prioritization, problem-solving, and project management skills.
· Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and successfully juggling multiple assignments at once with tight deadlines.
· Responsiveness to team members.
· Self-starter and ability to build initiatives from scratch.
Preferences:
· Passion for service and community building.
· Ability and willingness to travel (minimally) as needed.
· Experience in brand-building initiatives, including (but not limited to) creating highly engaging digital experiences, community engagement and/or team management.
· Strong desire for continued learning.

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
All CCF employees receive medical, dental, and vision coverage with no monthly premium deduction to the employee and qualifying dependents, retirement savings options with company match depending on years of employment, 10 paid holidays and accrual of sick and vacation time that increases with time employed.
Work Location:
This position is based in Phoenix, Arizona but may need to work remotely at from one of our other markets in California, Nevada, or Georgia for short periods of time which do not normally exceed one week and average 1-2 nights.

If an offer for employment is made to any candidate, they must provide proof of their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination within 30 days of employment and proof of a second dose within 60 days, no exemptions accepted. In certain cases, depending on the working conditions of a position’s location and especially when job responsibilities include interaction with the public, the CCF maintains the right to not allow a candidate to begin employment until proof of full vaccination has been completed. At the current time, a booster vaccination is not required but highly encouraged.
