Position : Social Media Coordinator

POSITION TITLE: Social Media Coordinator
Location: Remote (West Coast Preferred)
Purpose:
Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the Social Media Coordinator (SMC) will assist in running Sporttrade’s social media accounts including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. The SMC will be responsible for staying up to date on emerging trends in social media and will be able to create content and interact with customers using our brand voice. This role will include evening shifts to make posts pertaining to sporting events as they are happening. The SMC will assist in Sporttrade’s mission to elevate the sports betting industry by helping expand our organic reach on social media, participating in relevant conversations in sports betting, finance, fintech, and more.
Responsibilities:
Support Social Media Manager with content creation, distribution and measurement
Driving Sporttrade social accounts on solo basis during “live” event hours
Using analytics to track performance and using data to inform our social strategy
Assisting with customer service inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Staying abreast the latest trends in social media marketing
Content creation based upon trends, news and activities in both sporting and finance worlds
Leverage social media monitoring and listening tools
Support management of social media influencers
Required skills and Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience working in social media
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Social media proficiency across Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
Creativity and enthusiasm as it relates to sports, sports betting and trading (stocks)
Writing/Editing experience a plus
Experience with the Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, AfterEffects) a plus
Availability/flexibility to work nights and weekends as related to “live” sporting events
Advanced level of knowledge of the sports betting industry
Employment is contingent on candidate’s ability to undergo, pass and maintain required registration as mandated by state gaming regulations
