Job Description : Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Security, this position supports all activities associated with Energy Transfer’s comprehensive asset security and protection program to achieve performance goals and objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists Manager of Security in supporting Energy Transfer’s physical security program procedures, plans, SOPs, and activities.
Conduct site visits, assessments, inspections and audits to verify compliance with applicable security regulations, specifically:
CFATS Top Screens, Security Vulnerability Assessments, and Alternative Security Programs
MTSA Facility Security Plans and Facility Security Assessments
Critical Pipeline Facility Security Plans and SVA
DOT HM-232 Security Plans
Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of security drills and exercises, as required, to test pipeline, terminal or stakeholder organization’s ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from a security incident.
Participates in security incident investigations ensuring proper reporting, documentation, recommendations and final disposition of cases.
Liaise with law enforcement (local, state and federal agencies) as necessary.
Analyze security incident reports and tracking to identify and address trends and/or improvement opportunities.
Assists stakeholders with security relevant intranet applications.
Monitors proposed and final security legislation, regulations and guidance that could affect the company’s security operations and posture.
Support processes involving the submission and maintenance of FEMA Port Security Grant projects as necessary.
Submit weekly progress reports to Manager of Security.
Support Energy Transfer organizations and perform other security related tasks as requested.

Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirement for this position are listed below:
Bachelor’s degree in a security related field or criminal justice; or additional equivalent experience.
Minimum of 6+ years in the security profession, preferably in the energy, oil and gas sectors.
Demonstrated experience supporting, maintaining with the various security activities, programs, projects and regulatory requirements.
Possess excellent communication skills and ability to interact with external stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office Suite computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
3. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
4. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
