Job Description : Equivalent Experience
Actalent is looking for Specimen Processors to join our team in Houston, TX!
Job Description:
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
Route specimens by type to various staging areas or designated department.
Spin samples, pour urine tubes, and create frozen samples.
Unpack and route specimen to their respective staging areas.
Accurately identify and label specimens.
Pack and ship specimen to proper testing facilities.
Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
Process all necessary paperwork to process and submit specimen.
Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma or GED
No relative experience required; 1+ experience preferred.
Previous medical or production experience is a PLUS.
Must be able to lift 40lbs.
Additional Information:
M-F 9:00PM-5:30AM, rotating Saturdays.
