Job Description : Are you tired of sitting all day at your boring desk job? Are you seeking a job where you can be left to complete your work without constant supervision? Look no further! We are OrePac Building Products and we’re looking for a Store Service Representative to stock our items in local Home Depot stores. Experience is great, but we’re happy to train you! POSITION: Store Service Representative

LOCATION: Home Depot stores in San Diego, CA

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday with flexible start times

HOURS: 40 hours per week with overtime as needed

PAY: $18.50 per hour, D.O.E. + a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 6 months of employment + performance bonuses based on branch/company performance

Get paid for your commute to work!

You’ll clock in for work when you leave your home, and clock out for the day when you return home. Also, we’ll reimburse you for all work-related gas, mileage, and vehicle wear and tear.

The regular rate of pay for this position is $18.50 per hour for the first 8 hours worked in a day. The overtime rate of pay is $27.75 per hour. This is an overtime-friendly position! You’ll also get a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 6 months of employment and quarterly/annual performance bonuses based on branch/company performance.

Work at your own pace with little supervision!

After initial training, you’ll be left to complete your work in the assigned stores at your own pace, as long as you work safely and meet metrics.

Have the freedom to choose your start time!

This is a job that you can never be late for! We encourage you to start earlier in the day so that you’ll have the full support of our office staff if you need assistance.

Work independently but with support!

We will deliver the shipment of items directly to each store. You’ll have the help of Home Depot employees and equipment to load and unload materials from our trucks.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Replace merchandise and verify correct product facings/positioning to ensure a high level of visual appearance of programs and to support an easy shopping experience for customers
Evaluate merchandising compliance and order items to maintain merchandising
Confirm quality of product and packaging as material is shipped to stores
Create an environment of open communication and connection between Home Depot and the local OrePac branch
Execute corporate and localized team goals and initiatives
Quickly identify root causes of issues in the field and respond with prompt solutions
Build relationships with and take ownership of assigned Home Depot stores within territory
Comply with Home Depot and OrePac’s safety standards and procedures
Identify program improvement projects to work on at stores

Here’s what you’ll need to be considered for this position:

Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal vehicle
Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate merchandise up to 16 feet long and weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to occasionally lift/move/manipulate merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds
High school diploma, six months warehousing experience, or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
Comfortability writing emails and working with mobile applications
Flexibility and willingness to learning new tasks and responsibilities
Strong reading, writing, and interpretation skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills
Strong math skills, including basic algebra and geometry
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills
Strong detail orientation skills
