Job Summary

GateWay Community College is now hiring a great new role!
The Program Manager (HUG Clinic Administrator) manages operations of GateWay Community College’s pro-bono multidisciplinary health clinic. This position collaborates with internal and external college faculty, students, and administration in healthcare and wellness disciplines to ensure a high-quality student and patient experience. The Program Manager hired will conduct outreach with community organizations and other colleges within the Maricopa Community Colleges District to drive learning experiences for students and patient care opportunities. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the clinic’s healthcare license provided by Arizona Department of Health Services and following the Administrative Code to remain in compliance.
This position requires:

CPR Certification within 60 days of hire

Essential Functions

25% – Manages, creates and implements a strategic plan for the HUG clinic. Coordinates and communicates program participation requirements and opportunities.
25% – Manages daily operations and functions. Serves as subject matter expert (Administrator) for HUG Clinic operations, policies, procedures, and compliance.
15% – Develops partnerships with other MCCCD colleges and community organizations.
10% – Develops, implements and monitors program budget, including grants, philanthropic donations, and sponsorships.
10% – Analyzes and implements clinic best practices in collaboration with stakeholders. Monitors data collection and prepares reports.
10% – Manages, hires, directs, supervises, disciplines and evaluates staff.
5% – Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in healthcare administration, management, education, educational leadership or related field and (5) five years of program administration or management experience that includes (2) two years of supervisory experience.
OR
Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution in healthcare administration, management, education, educational leadership or related field and (7) seven years of program administration or management experience, that includes (2) two years of supervisory experience.
OR
A High School Diploma/GED from a regionally accredited institution and (9) nine years of program administration or management experience that includes (2) two years of supervisory experience.

Desired Qualifications

A. Has a master’s degree or above
B. Experience in current principles, regulatory and professional standards of allied health practices and clinical skills to provide direct patient care within their field including evaluation procedures and education
C. Experience with working independently to utilize skills for problem solving and multitasking
D. Experience with budgeting/payroll, hiring/supervising of staff, and/or patient or student scheduling
E. Current Arizona License or National Registry in one of the fields of service at the HUG clinic (which includes PT/PTA, OT/OTA, DMS, or RES)

Special Working Conditions

Will be required to travel or be assigned to all GateWay locations
May require local and out of state travel
May require some evenings or weekends
May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen
