Summary
Broaddus Construction is seeking a talented Subcontractor Risk Analyst to join our growing team and family culture environment. This candidate will have the option of working remote or from one of our regional offices in Arlington, Austin, Houston, or McAllen Texas. This position will play a critical role when it comes to subcontractor prequalification and subcontractor insurance.
Responsibilities
Subcontractor Prequalification

Responsible for maintaining the Subcontractor Prequalification database.
Working with the Preconstruction department to ensure that all bidding parties are prequalified
Providing guidance to subcontractors regarding the prequalification process.
Updating and providing current prequalification information to preconstruction and operations departments.
Quarterly reporting.
Issuing, compiling, and tracking subcontractor performance reviews.
Providing ongoing training for preconstruction and operations teams regarding subcontractor risk and providing guidance on mitigating risk to the company.

Subcontractor Insurance

Responsible for maintaining Subcontractor Insurance Database.
Requesting and follow up for missing insurance.
Reviewing certificates of insurance and associated endorsements to confirm contract requirements are being met.
Ability to communicate clearly with project teams and subcontractors about what is needed.
Providing ongoing training on insurance coverage to project teams.

Qualifications

3 years or more of related or similar subcontractor/risk experience required.
ARM and/or CRIS designations a plus, however, not required.
Solid understanding of insurance coverage, construction risk and exposures required.
Previous experience in construction risk management required.
Knowledge of Procore, Computer Ease, and Timberline/Sage a plus; but computer literacy and ability to learn new software is required.
Must be a self-starter, team-player, and able to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000.00 – $88,000.00 per year
