Job Description : Position Overview:
Navistar is building a new, Industry 4.0 manufacturing facility in San Antonio, Texas to develop leading-edge commercial vehicle solutions to meet the needs of today’s – and tomorrow’s – customers. This new facility will have the flexibility to build Class 6-8 trucks along with Electric Vehicles that allow Navistar to add capacity to support anticipated industry growth. Using the Internet of Things (IoT) and connected manufacturing principles, Navistar’s newest manufacturing facility will continue growing our market share gains, optimizing our supplier network and improving quality. We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Clerk to join our Supply Chain Team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Track receipts, fill orders, manage inventories, updating records
Reviewing work objectives with supervisor
Working closely with respective departments in supply chain to ensure we meet departmental and company KPI’s
Able to identify issues and escalating the issue to related parties
Be flexible to fill in roles in where help is needed
Basic Requirements:
Associate’s Degree
At least 1 year of Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement or Operations experience
OR
At least 2 years of Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement, Operations experience
Additional Requirements:
Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status).
