*Center Point Energy* is looking for an* Insert Operator II to join our CNP Off Suppt Svcs Output Mgmt Houston Team, located in Houston, TX*.
You will have the ability to: : Operate equipment to process daily customer bills for delivery to U.S. Postal Service. Typically works on inserter machine as an operator, the person who sets-up and operates the inserter machine to insert customer bills into envelopes for processing. May catch, including gathers bills, labels the mail trays and organizes the mail in trays in accordance with Postal Service requirements

*To be successful in this role you will: *

Provides daily instructions to less experienced operators on tasks to accomplish.
Set-ups and operates the production inserting machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Loads inserter machine with the appropriate envelopes and inserts.
Moves trays of processed bills into position for delivery to or collection by public and private postal services.
Pays attention to detail in order to recognize errors in sort arrangement.

Your background includes:

A high school education or the equivalent knowledge of English, basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and calculation of fractions and/or percentages), spelling, grammar and punctuation
A minimum of two years prior experience with daily, high volume use of production inserting machine and knowledge of United States Postal Service requirements.
