Job Description : Summary of Position :
At Alcon, we help our customers see brilliantly. As the world’s leading contact lens and eye care manufacturer, Alcon is looking to hire a Packaging Technician III to join our Ft. Worth-North Manufacturing team in Ft. Worth, TX. Working for a large global organization you’ll have an opportunity to grow and build a great dynamic and rewarding career.

You will be responsible for operating a packaging line of sterile products to the completion of the product. Provide the best productivity while showing efficiency and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform initial review of MBRs and assist with final review utilizing available checklist.
Review all supporting documentation.
Perform or assist with line clearance.
Operate and troubleshoot all machinery
Assist with check-in of components and completion of supporting documentation.
Operate and lead at least 3 lines both labeling and packaging, from the exit of the fill suit to the completion of the packaging
Ensure proper escalation of issues to maintenance
Group Leads and Supervisors Act as a point of contact for support groups.
Drive productivity and efficiency on the packaging floor

Key Performance Indicators:
Safety, MBR Right the first time, Non Conformances or DCT, Training, CIP, Housekeeping, Attendance, Performance/shift yield, Versatility, Scrap reduction, and On Time Product Release (OTR).

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
The ability to fluently read, writes, understand and communicate in English

Work hours: 2nd shift, 2:30pm – 11:00pm, Monday-Friday
