Position : Theater Teaching Artist
Job Description : Junior Players is seeking independent contractors to join our roster of teaching artists who currently reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We are seeking those with professional experience in theater, with a preference for those with teaching experience. Independent contractors will be responsible for teaching students about their respective art forms in a variety of settings (in school, after school, libraries, recreation centers, libraries, etc.) and will serve students anywhere from grades K – 12.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:Teaching artists will be required to wear a mask while working with our participants. Our staff has several trained COVID compliance officers who will make the call when to lift this rule.
Experience:
Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
English (Preferred)
Spanish (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver’s License (Required)
